This is a special time of year for many of our families at Hartcliffe Nursery School, and we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate that together.

For our Muslim families, Ramadan is underway – a month of fasting, reflection, prayer and togetherness. We wish everyone observing a peaceful and blessed Ramadan, and we look forward to celebrating Eid al-Fitr with you as the month draws to a close. Ramadan Mubarak to all who are celebrating! 🌙

Last week we marked Shrove Tuesday, the beginning of the journey towards Easter for many of our Christian families, a season that similarly involves fasting, reflection and coming together with loved ones. Like Ramadan, it is a time rooted in community, shared rituals and celebration.

It is wonderful to recognise how much these traditions have in common, and how they remind us that, whatever our background, so many of us share the same values of family, kindness and togetherness. At Hartcliffe, we celebrate every one of our families and the rich, diverse community we are lucky enough to be part of.
