Avon and Somerset Police are offering free online sessions for parents and carers to help them recognise and respond to child exploitation.

The sessions are led by Child Exploitation Prevention Officer Andri Nicolaou and cover the different forms of child exploitation, how offenders groom and exploit children both online and offline, warning signs that a child may be at risk, and practical steps parents and carers can take to keep children safe and respond to any concerns.

Two sessions are available to choose from. The first takes place on Tuesday 18th March from 7pm to 8.30pm, and the second on Sunday 30th March from 10.30am to 12pm. Both sessions cover the same content.

These sessions provide vital information to help parents and carers protect children from exploitation. Booking is available through the Avon and Somerset Police Eventbrite page, or by scanning the QR codes on the attached poster.
