Dear Parents and Carers
From September 2026, if you receive Universal Credit with annual household earnings of £7400 or less, you will be eligible for targeted free school meals (FSM).
If you receive Universal Credit of annual household earnings exceeding £7400 you will be entitled to expanded free school meals (FSM).
If you believe you meet one of the above criteria, please speak to Lisa at the front desk at the nursery.
Until we hear more from the Local Authority, please can you provide a healthy, nut-free packed lunch for your child for each of their full day sessions. Please come and see us if this is going to be tricky for you.
We will update you more when we find out further information from Bristol City Council. At which point, we will return to providing free school meals if you are eligible. If you are not eligible, you will need to provide a packed lunch for your child.
