We received a lovely thank you message from a child, in Fireflies Room, that was with us for a year, and then moved nursery schools as they moved out of the local area. Thank you so much to their parent for sharing this with us. 🥰
As I get ready to move on to [a new] chapter at a new school, I want to take this opportunity to let you know I’m going to miss you very much!
I would also like to thank you for being my first best friend when I didn’t know how to make friends. For being the person I could come to when I was sad or frustrated and for giving me the space and kind presence to help me work through these emotions.
Thank you for being patient with me and helping me understand the world around me that little bit better.
Thank you for being my friend.
Thank you for being my teacher.
Thank you for being my morning hug.
Thank you for being my safe place.
And above all else, thank you for being YOU!
I’m going to miss you so much
I hope we get to see each other again in the future.
