Squirrels class have been so busy this term, it has flown by for us all! We have been making the most of the warmer weather and spending time focused on outdoor learning. Being outside is of enormous benefit for children (and us adults, too) and gives opportunities for the children to really challenge themselves physically.

We have been working on many critical physical skills, such as climbing, balancing and negotiating space. As you can see, the children have made tremendous progress in their physical development over the year and are now confidently challenging themselves to achieve some very impressive skills!

All of these big movements and developing strength in your upper body are essential in giving children the skills they need for writing, and we are so proud of how hard they have worked.
